* Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches can be expected today with an additional 1 to 2 inches on Saturday with a line of thunderstorms. Total additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 5 inches can be expected with isolated heavier totals.

* Soils are saturated across North Texas and any additional rainfall will result in rapid runoff which is likely to lead to flooding.

Instructions: A Flood Watch means that conditions are favorable for heavy rain which may lead to flooding of low lying areas. You should monitor the latest forecasts from the National Weather Service and be prepared to take action should Flood Warnings be issued for your area.

Lake Granbury Fishing Report from TPWD (Feb. 14)

Water stained; 62–66 degrees; 0.40’ low. Black bass are fair on chartreuse soft plastics, spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and Rat–L–Traps. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on pet spoons. Crappie are slow. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and stinkbait.
