Fishing Report from TPWD (May 25)

GOOD. Water lightly stained; 76 degrees; 0.30 feet low. Fish have moved out to deeper water around creek ledges and deeper boat docks. Soft plastics and football jigs have been productive. Bass are good with a quick early morning topwater bite from 6-6:30 a.m. Transitioning to 16-20 feet of water using Carolina rigs on points. Striped bass are slow, but can be caught in 20-40 feet of water trolling umbrella-rigs with white or chartreuse or live bait mid lake.
