GOOD. Water stained; 80 degrees; 1.00 feet below pool. Granbury water temperatures continue to be in the upper 70s, but will be falling some this next week or so. Water levels are falling and the lake is about a foot low. Best Granbury action continues to be sand bass in 10-20 feet of water. Surface schooling fish can be found on many areas of the lake most every day. Striped bass are slow to fair on live bait and troll umbrella rigs. Best striped bass action is on the lower ends with some fish being caught near the Shores. Largemouth bass are good in numbers with an occasional fish to 6 pounds possible. Best reports come from the backs of creeks and sloughs and some fish are on main lake points. Crappie continue to be good mid-lake on submerged timber. Some good reports come from bridge pilings near town. Catfish continue to be good on cut shad humps and ridges all over the lake. Look for schools of catfish in 15-20 feet of water.
